About Annie
Annie believes that everyone deserves a soft place to land. A space where you can finally breathe out and let your guard down, so you can be seen and heard.
She is a clinical psychotherapist, researcher, and adjunct social work educator. Her approach is built on creating a collaborative and welcoming space for everyone. Her theoretical orientation is rooted in psychological safety, drawing from humanistic traditions and frameworks which combine traditional talk therapies and practical coping and supportive living tools with body-centered mindfulness, harm-reduction strategies, and empowerment models. Annie is deeply committed to inclusive care that honors diverse identities that respect each person's background, culture, and lived experiences. These perspectives allow her to tailor healing to the specific needs of each individual.
Believing that joy and community connection are vital to well-being, Annie spends her time outside the therapy room tending to her Iowa City community through grassroots and pro-bono work. She can frequently be found playing in the woods with loved ones, championing equitable access to resources and bringing a spirit of care to everyone she meets.
By bridging the gap between clinical practice, academic research, and grassroots activism, Annie dedicates herself to helping both individuals and communities build resilience and recover from trauma.

Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy-
Annie is dedicated to helping individuals safely explore, prepare for, and process profound states of consciousness. Because the administration of psychedelic medicines outside of tightly regulated medical trials remains inaccessible her practice focuses strictly on the psychological bookends of the journey: preparation and integration.
Before a client's intentional self-work, Annie provides a safe, non-judgmental space to establish clear intentions, discuss psychological safety, and build coping strategies. Following an experience, she helps clients unpack their insights, process lingering emotions, and translate mystical or difficult moments into meaningful, long-term personal growth and nervous system regulation. Her approach uses evidence-based talk therapies and somatic inquiry to help you integrate your experiences and cultivate lasting well-being.
Death Doula and Grief Services-
As an end-of-life doula and grief companion, Annie provides a safe, nonjudgmental space to process complex loss. She specializes in honoring disenfranchised grief and deep identity shifts, helping clients navigate the unique heartbreak and losses associated with solastalgia (eco-grief), life transitions, infidelity, and addiction.
Her approach to companionship is rooted in compassionate presence and steady witnessing. By bringing clarity and normalization to misunderstood mourning processes, she empowers individuals to heal emotional wounds.

About Jenna
Jenna Briasco (she/they) is a Licensed Master Social Worker based in Iowa City. Jenna offers support by externalizing concerns and clarifying personal values, helping individuals find balance, meaning, and purpose.
Through her education in social work, her background in community mental health, and her personal life experience, Jenna has developed a root cause approach to understanding life and its stressors, often exploring themes like dominant narratives, personal identity, life transitions, grief/loss, and whole-body wellbeing.
Jenna practices within a Narrative Therapy framework, occasionally pulling in components of other evidence-based practices to provide individualized care. Jenna values empathy, transparency, creativity, nature, and connection. These values form the foundation of her practice, and because of this, she promises to never use machine learning or any other form of artificial intelligence in her work as a therapist. Jenna welcomes adults of all ages and backgrounds.

About Lydia
At times life events are too much for us to handle alone and perhaps there is a need for extra support to work through managing the transitions. Therapy provides a safe space for you to explore the uneasy feelings and teach you skills to cope. Together we will explore the uncomfortable to ease the transition into your new chapter of life.
I have over 5 years of experience supporting those suffering with chronic illness and their loved ones as well as those grieving. In addition to my medical experience, I have extensive experience supporting foster parents and children.
My first-hand experiences are the foundation of my therapeutic style. I understand your experience is not the same as mine but is similar. My personal experience includes being an interracial adoptee, grieving those who are closest to me, and supporting loved ones with medical illness. I believe having someone who is able to relate in some capacity is key to building a trusting and therapeutic relationship.
